Alex and Nicole Colburn with their Baby

About MN Postpartum

We’re building a community-centered effort to increase awareness, support, and connection around postpartum mental health for mothers, fathers, and families across Minnesota.

Why We Started

MN Postpartum was created out of a simple belief: no parent should feel alone during the postpartum period.

Too many families struggle in silence with postpartum depression, anxiety, overwhelm, identity changes, and the emotional challenges that can follow bringing home a baby. While support does exist, it can be difficult to find, difficult to navigate, or hard to reach in the moments when it is needed most.

We started this effort to help make postpartum support more visible, more approachable, and more connected in Minnesota. Through community events, educational resources, and partnerships with local organizations, we want to help families find information, encouragement, and support earlier.
